The short version: Dialed does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your bag and your numbers stay on your device.

Information We Collect

None. Dialed has no user accounts, no login, and no registration. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or any other personal information, and we operate no servers that receive your data.

Data Stored on Your Device

Your bag, carry distances, wedge matrix, saved profiles, and settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This information never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or any third party, and is removed if you delete the app.

Location

If you enable it, Dialed uses your device location (with your permission) for two on-device purposes: reading your altitude and requesting local weather so it can adjust your carry distances to your current conditions. Your location is used only for these features. We do not store it, share it with advertisers, or use it to track you. You can decline or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings and enter conditions manually instead.

Weather Data

To provide live conditions, Dialed uses Apple's WeatherKit service. When you use this feature, your device sends your location coordinates to Apple to return current weather. Apple's handling of that request is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Dialed does not receive or retain any identifying information from this process.

Photos

If you export a reference card, Dialed asks for add-only permission to save that one image to your Photos library. This is a one-way write with your permission — Dialed cannot read, browse, or access any other photos, and it saves nothing else.

No Analytics, No Ads, No Tracking

Dialed contains no advertising, no analytics or telemetry, and no third-party tracking software. The core distance features work fully offline.

In-App Purchase

Dialed offers one optional one-time purchase, "Dialed Pro," which unlocks the automatic conditions engine, live compass wind, and unlimited saved locations. Any purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store — we do not receive or store your payment details, credit card number, or Apple ID. The only thing Dialed keeps is a simple unlock flag stored locally on your device so it remembers you are a Pro user.

Children's Privacy

Dialed does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
